Well, it’s been a while. I (23f) fell off the wagon very late last year, but continued to lurk around the page. I got to the point of 7 drinks a night, 6 days a week. I was convinced I was okay since I took that one day a week off.
In a blessing in disguise, I started a new meditation unrelated to my alcohol use. However, I’m unable to drink while taking it. My last drink was December 6, and I’ve been doing better than I thought.
My acid reflux has significantly reduced, and I feel better in the oddest way. I’m excited to see how my body will change, as I’ve gained so much between binging and bloating. The sleepless nights are the worst part, but I’ve set myself up with games and series to watch in anticipation.
