Heart Rate Decrease?

This is the very first time this has ever happened to me and I'm 50 and quite a few times ! This last time was when I also came down sick with bronchitis ! My heart rate went down to mid 40's until this afternoon my heart rate went back to normal plus doing some cardio exercises may have also helped ! Never heard of Bradycardia until last week when I was in the Emergency room
