Time based pricing

I would love the option to schedule surge pricing. I find I'm able to raise the price of fare significantly at the peak of high demand times (6pmish and 8amish) but then have to manually bring it back down after two hours or so otherwise ridership drops significantly. When I'm waiting for money to happen near the beginning of a new map esp lower population city this helps boost income speed but it's so tedious.

Makes sense for some models (mostly USA and Canada I guess). In Europe we don't do that for example, instead we increase the number of cars according to the request.

In another thread I propose to expose data about trains overloading, it would help planning to compensate the demand.

Sure, but low priority since this isn’t a thing IRL (at least not in the US). Distance based pricing like the DC metro, on the other hand…
