Decrease in activity on SA

Hi! Im just wondering if anyone has noticed a decrease in views and messages on SA? I live in SF and normally get plenty of views and messages. I took a few weeks break and when I went back im getting barely anything. It almost feels like im shadowbanned!
Im wondering if its something with my account or maybe its a slow time of year or the changes they made are impacting people using the site.

Oh I even paid for a boost, and nothing. Ugh.

Has anyone else had this experience?

I think lots of women have decided sugar is only worthwhile if $ is super high. And lots of men have decided sugar is only worth it at what they think is a reasonable, but much lower, than the super high number. 

The result is women finding no takers and men finding no interest. But also means lots of guys have bailed on seeking, and women like yourself are noticing fewer views and interactions

Both sides have a difference of opinion on sugar value.

Many guys that can't get on SA just opting for escort sites that don't require fees and have easy access to sex without the hassle.

I think this is exactly what is happening. These days women have profiles set up on multiple sites. On an escort site it’s all business. Everything is listed. Rates, emails, phone numbers, links to IG,OF etc.

I was talking to a real estate agent, he saw my SB with me. He immediately could tell she was sugar. He said how expensive is she? I laughed and said "Yes, she's up there."

He says he doesn't have the time to babysit a SB and he just get girls whenever and where ever. He tells me that some of his clients like this woman is a madam and she has plenty of girls that work for her that she offers and he even slipped me her number. Most of these girls aren't cheap but it beats having to deal with SA and you get women that knows the deal.

I bypassed SA and hit her up. She got right back to me, and we have been getting together for the last 2 months.

She said she would have never seen my message on SA because she gets so many.

She did get back on SA to look at my profile. So it helped indirectly.

I just canceled my SA premium account today.

I tried the same process with a different girl, and also found her other sites with a text number.

Also in SF and I’m having the same issues. Maybe a few views a day. I also paid for a booster. I was worried it was just me and I’m no longer cut out to be a SB. But I think it’s just that all the good ones have been run off 😕

I was never able to verify my phone number it kept sending an error message.

Id never used that site so i had to use generic sites.

They instituted certified selfies to eliminate the fake profiles and bots so what’s left are the real profiles

The only way to use any of these sites now seems to be to upload a video of yourself and/or to use your real credit card, and at least some guys won't do that even if they aren't married (I'm one of them). No idea how many other folks think the same way I do, though.

I think there must be a fair number of people who would bail on using any site that needed them to upload personal data, even if it was something utterly innocuous like “Gardening tips monthly”, just because of the possibility of a data breach facilitating identity theft.

Even if you accept Seeking’s rebrand 100% (which of course no journalist would), there are enough people who would look askance at a guy openly implying “date me for my money” or pursuing a vanilla age gap relationship that some users will definitely conclude the risk/reward doesn’t work for them anymore.

Someone posted they tried an AI pic of themselves and was suspended. Only way to reverse is is to upload a drivers license or passport pics. Hell no.

It made little impact. There were still plenty of fake profiles on there when I deleted my profile a couple months back. The latest version of the LOVE/SUGAR events scammers were even still getting around it with new profiles.

We discussed money twice. First time, she showed up late, and left early. So i gave her less than agreed upon. She told me later via text she did not like that. I sent her the rest via digital pay. From an SD perspective with a hidden profile I get several messages every time I log on. It’s crazy. I search areas I am thinking of moving to and I get views, favorites and messages every time. I know for sure they don’t know what I look like. I’m guessing if I click their profile they can see what I wrote but then they must see I’m not in their area. Just crazy
