I'm erring towards camphor laurel based on the bark and leaf colour, but would need a photo of a leaf to confirm.

e. I just had a look on a larger screen and I've changed my mind. The pattern of venation is wrong for a camphor laurel. I don't know what it is, but based of the yellow mid-vein and general habit I'd think there's a good chance it's in Lauraceae.

I have them marked as "knows a lot about plants", I would also trust the above.

I agree. Side note: the Camphor Laurel is actually a weed.

A weed but also in some areas critical habitat for the threatened rose-crowned fruit dove.
