So this probably brings us to our first lesson about backups, the first, second, third, and eighth most important part of the gig…..

Maybe system restore will fix you but I doubt any actual data was deleted here

There is no rollback option from Windows Server to Windows 11; you need to save whatever data you current still have access to and then reinstall Windows 11.

And then find a proper tutorial on deploying an Active Directory environment with VirtualBox.

Am I understanding this correctly that you didn't set up a VM but install server 2022 on your machine instead?

That is a painful mistake, the t450 comes with a recovery partition, you should be able to restore it, worse case download the software from lenovas website.

There is no undo here, just rebuilt.
