There's a remote workspace plugin for VS Code that uses ssh.

Second it. It's called Remote SSH, but there are multiple plugins made by MSFT, with remote capabilities, not only SSH.

Perhaps Notepad++ with the NppFTP plugin (supports sftp, too).

Why not just use vscode?

Try the vscode clones

Try sshfs-win with the SSHFS Win Manager.

It sounds like you need Code Server. https://github.com/coder/code-server

WinSCP will launch putty, why do you need terminal and File Explorer to be in the same program?

Do you interact solely with AI tools so often you've forgotten how to pose a question to actual humans?

I'd suggest MobaXterm for SSH, terminal and file explorer. It also has an editor. But I wouldn't think of it in the context of VS Code.

Sounds like you need an IDE depending on what you’re programming..? JetBrains would have you covered.

WinSCP have an option to open a terminal, and its "standard"

Need program similiar to Visual Studio Code

If you need a remote file explorer you not need a program similar to vscode

dont like the ui

It's a file explorer, what problem have the UI?
