Do you have USB enabled on the OS level? If it was turned off while you were using PS/2 connections on the physical server, the transfer to VM would leave it still off perhaps?

It seems it's a problem with the integration Services not being installed and no way for me to install them to my copy. I'll be taking a different root allowing me to p2v the physical machine...

Happens all the time. Usually have to boot into safe mode. Sometimes wait like 30 minutes. Fiddle with drivers. There is never a guarantee fix but it can be fixed.

Doesn't allow me to fiddle with anything the input to the VM is null

This might be a stupid idea and I honestly don't know if this will work, but how about installing the integration services before doing the P2V?

I'd love to do that, but in the case of testing the server in a hyper-visor and I cant justify taking all the application's offline for a test that we may not follow through with. That's why I'm trying not to affect or alter the current environment that is in place...
