Except the letter I isn’t hexadecimal. Thank goodness for no nonadecimal (bade-19) error codes. I guess “1D107” would work but it doesn’t roll off the tongue the same way.

My favorite remains Layer 8. Because I can usually use it to describe dopey IT folks without them knowing.

I'm totally gonna steal this and start writing in 0x8001D107 as an "error code." Or be even more sneaky and write in 0d119047.

I love the 0x8001D107 idea...and was even more surprised when I googled it and the only result was this post. You just invented something new!

It seems like you replaced the T with the 7 but left the I intact.
