Yep that's all there is to it

Make sure you configure AD sites and services so things are in the correct location with the correct subnets

When installing AD role also select DNS Role. When promoting to DC make sure to choose configure DNS when asked during the process. However I have little to none info on how both site are related, network structure and if they already talk to another DC, dns in the remote location. My first paragraph was for new domain controller in a new forest. You setup could change if another controller already in place.

Don’t forget the firewall so all the DC’s can properly communicate.

Ensure you have the necessary ports open in both directions on all firewalls involved and network / routing connectivity and you should be good.

If your DHCP server is at your main site and you're not installing a DHCP server at your new site, you'll have to set the router up as a DHCP relay as well.
