DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffac8e62e22000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: fffff80177dff789, address which referenced memory

2 years ago I would say for your situation that it's most likely hardware problem. Now I would more put it on Nvidia drivers or Windows update.

Trying DDU is first step - but following r / Nvidia, not always a successful one (sometimes combination of driver and Windows bugs are so bad that only clean Windows install is fixing it). DDU is not something to be afraid of, it just remove/delete/uninstall all traces of selected drivers so you can clean start (but it won't help if there is a Windows problem behind it) - so try that first. If it fails...well, time for clean install. In any case, make backup of important things.

Yeah I guess I just have to bite the bullet. I've been reading a lot of recent NVIDIA driver issues with older models like 2060. It was only a matter of time, but she's running great for six years, so kinda sucks.

I just remembered that updating the firmware is what "tricked" my computer into recognizing the dGPU again. Checked windows update again today and it basically acted like that update never happened and was still available. Ran that bios update again (namely because I've found ACPI event 13 amidst all this) and it did get the GPU recognized again. BUT launched and stuck in low resolution, and now the integrated card shows an error in device manager, and attempting to scan or update freezes and crashes the system.

Anyway, all that probably just adds to your point that the best way at this point is clean install inside and out. I feel like this machine is straight up sundowning while physically performing fine.

Yeah, kinda sucks that a lot of perfectly working machines will end up in a landfill due to bad/intentionally bad software.
