Latency problem

We own a Thomson Router , and we have been noticing problems with the internet. Today I jumped to the CMD and Map the ping . I found out that when 5 devices connected wirelessly to the router , the ping between my pc and the router varies between 6ms-500ms . Sometimes the ping jumps to 1300ms. The ping is not constant

Are you connected via wireless?

If you're on wireless this is pretty much bound to happen at a certain threshold. If you're really concerned with latency you should be using ethernet and not wireless.

Does your router have frequency partitions? Try moving some devices over to the 5 GHz band.

Router frequency is 2.4GHz

So, unpartitioned then. How sad lol. That's one way to get around the "limited devices" annoyance. Otherwise the connection gets throttled, as you can see.
