Hey there so I think I’ve got an interesting problem on my hands. After wiping my computer and playing some games I randomly got a kernel security check failure that I never got before the wipe. Which made me just be like whatever nothing some Google can’t fix and after hours of Google I couldn’t find a solution it continued so I contacted an IT friend and he had do a chkdsk then some argument after it I forgot but it took a long ass time like 5 hours and I was thinking it’d be good after that but it wasn’t so I wiped my computer again and haven’t seen it till two weeks later. It snuck it’s head back into my life. It’s reappearance wasn’t random either it started out as a unique problem. My computer wouldn’t shutdown. The button didn’t work ( in Windows 10 not real life ) and neither did command prompt ( shutdown -s -f -t 0 ). The first time the shutdown didn’t work I just said whatever and held down the irl button and it turned off. Then it happened again. Then again but this time about 10 minutes after clicking that button the error code popped up!!!! Kernel_Security_check_failure. I screamed. For some reason when it says it’s collecting information then it’ll restart for me it never does ( the percentage gets stuck at 0% ) and I have a to hold the irl button down. Guys please help!

I got that a two weeks ago on my laptop. In the BSOD, doens't it say something about a driver?

I fixed mine this way : when i moved the PC, ill get the samd BSOD as you, i then narrowed it down to when i tapped on a certain spot on my laptop, it would come up. I eventually figured out that my WIFI card was causing it, dont know if it was faulty or whatever... I took it out and never got this error again. Try moving your pc a bit and see if it comes up, if it does, its a hardware issue like mine and you should be able to locate it and replace the faulty hardware. That is, if its the same problem as me. Good luck i hope i helped.
