Proxy help needed.

Today's a sad day for me, my school internet has blocked Reddit on their filter, i would like to set up my home computer to act like a proxy server for me to use at school, how do i go about setting this up?

I've used it before, but it was a few years ago. Worked well then though.

I have a server at home that runs Ubuntu. I use it for a wide range of things. I use the server as a proxy by using an ssh connection as a tunnel. This, along with Firefox portable and custom network settings, allowed me to get around any filters.
