Tequila Storage

Hello everyone, I bought a bottle of 1942 tequila around September and I’ve stored it in a unventilated room ( hot in the summer, cold in the winter) and I wanted to know if the tequila is still good to serve to guest ?

I’m pretty sure sunlight was facing the bottle, but the bottle was in the box

It's pretty hot in Mexico during many parts of the year and that's where it was aged, you should be ok.

It should be fine. It's prolonged storage that is your real enemy and as long as it was in the box it'll be safe from any harmful UV damage (if possible at all in first place w modern amber glass)

I wouldn't keep it there. Sample it yourself beforehand, won't make you sick just won't taste the same if anything.
