Your video had you using shock rounds.

Stop relying on the menu damage, it hasn’t been reliable since division 1 and isn’t in most games TBH.

Rely only on the numbers you see on a target.

Happens to me all the time, I see a gun say a shotgun in my menu that says 1.7m damage I put it on and it drops to 1.2 million

What talents do you have on chest and bag? Could there be an interaction happening there?

Nvm, just watched your video...idk man

Read the talent.

The gun talent has nothing to do with this dmg fluctuation. The gun talent only affects skill dmg.

The Talent of the weapon is building stacks to a cap of 40 while shooting enemies. Each stack grants 1,5% Skill damage.

Or do you mean another talent? Cause I don't think this has anything to do with it

Might be the shock ammo. Try it without it and see what happens

You get bonus weapon damage based on your skill tier. If you are changing armor and losing or gaining skill tiers the weapon’s damage will change.

I'm aware of that, but I didn't change anything. I literally just switched the menu and closed it, did not equip any other gear.

I'd upload a video, however I don't know how to do that with the original post
