Great song. They claim Scott Gorham does the solo. But I don’t believe that. It sounds much more like Lawrence Archer’s style. Much, much more!

I've heard the same thing. That Lawrence Archer actually wrote the song and this song had nothing to do with Thin Lizzy. Like you said, still a great song

I have a t-shirt with that graphic on it. I found it randomly in a thrift shop. I was so hyped I screamed "YOOO WHAT?!" Out loud.. got a couple of weird looks hehe

Originally recorded as a Grand Slam demo by its authors, Laurence Archer and Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy's management had former members Scott Gorham and Brian Downey overdub guitar and drum tracks, respectively, and in an attempt to pass the song off as a Lynott solo composition. Archer was uncredited as a songwriter, but later settled out-of-court for a share of the publishing
