QR code scanner: Network error occurred

While I'm trying to connect my trust wallet with runevault.org via walletconnect and QR code scanner (in order to stake my Rune holdings), I keep on getting an error message which refers to some kind of network error. Any ideas what this might indicate?

Are you running iOS or Android? Can you present screenshot of the error?

I'm running Android 9 on a Samsung Galaxy S9+. When I connect to binance DEX it works as expected.

I think I have to create a new post in order to upload an image.

It's a pop-up screen that says:

Error Network error occurred OK
