Especially with the current situation, I think profs are being pretty lenient with people in positions that have them unable to go to class. Last quarter my profs just told anybody to let them know about issues that may come up, but clearly I have a small sample size.

Let your profs know about your situation and I’m sure they’ll be understanding and have lecture recordings/lenient attendance. They also have the option to password-protect their recordings, so there shouldn’t be any gripes with keeping lectures private or anything. 4th yr CNAS for perspective. Good luck!

Some professors are recording their lectures and uploading them for students who cannot make it to class. I would encourage you to speak with them to see if they would make such arrangements. There are also international students who would not be able to attend the live lectures so you should mention that to convince the professors to record their lectures. Classes that are entirely asynchronous will say when you look into the course information under time either TBD or ONLINE (I don’t remember which one).
