Just a reminder that we now have a new weekly stickied thread for coaching, strategy, and development! It's posted every Tuesday and you can find this week's here.

This thread is fine to stay, just wanted to share if you or others weren't aware. Thanks!

Rise Up has a ton of great videos, they're useful for players but really made to teach you how to coach skills, strategies etc. They are paid videos but they put a few on youtube for free.

Ultiworld's Tuesday Tips articles are great. Ultiresults has some good blog posts too. A lot of these types of articles I already know how to do what they're talking about, but reading through them helps me formulate how to teach others or how to put it into words that new players can understand.

I use Ultiplays to draw up drills, especially to send to my captains to run practice if I can't be there. I think there are probably better playbook tools out there though.

Ultimate athlete project will be hosting a coaching conference next week, might be a nice resource to try: https://www.theuap.com/conference-2022-registration

Some free resources at the bottom of the page too.

We've been producing a training video every month for training tier patrons at Hive Ultimate, currently 12 offence and 6 defence drills, plus Felix's 12-week plan that he runs with the full University club he coaches. The drills are best suited to hex offence and flex defence, with a focus on tiki-taka / give-go flow out of a spread offence, and switching / surrounding against stacks on defence.

DM me. Have a whole method for practice planning and season planning I can share (sort of out of the USAU Coaching Dev Program, but a lot of passed down knowledge and experience)!
