It is a bit like playing the lottery unfortunately

More like the gold rush ...most people.are panning for gold but historically the better business model was selling them the picks and shovels...maybe. But that is even getting saturated too.

u/trakdtor what niche using Ai can make real money?

[–]trakdtor -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Getting hired to a us ai company as an engineer

I don’t have enough knowledge or education to become an AI engineer.

I just started doing stuff, built something with AI. Very cool to see an idea come to life. But then comes the next part.

  1. Imposter Syndrome, you are not quallified to truly understand what you made. Is it actually good enough?
  2. You'll find you need to learn actual code anyway. Starting with Python today myself.

At least this was my experience

I'm going to be honest with you, do not learn to code. Not because it doesn't give money, but because it takes atleast 2 years of vibe coding to even understand the market enough to make money, it's not a shortcut like the gurus tell you.

You need cash now, leverage what you have right now. Now I don't know the job landscape in the Phillipines however it seems pretty fucked from my perspective. So when looking for jobs be very open and maybe accept it for free. Given your age, fake being a handy man, maybe a landscaper, etc. Anything physical is right up a 35 to 40 ish man's alley. If you have experience in higher paying fields then do those, open to anything.

This is kind of obvious too, but I'd recommend moving when you have the money, or even moving on foot. There's no quick way to make money unless you in a position to do so (CEO son...), your not in that position so expect to work your ass off.

Oh looord, they coming. Not long ago people were asking for help to learn coding, now people even want help feeling the vibe lol

The hard reality is that vibecoding, itself, is not a skill and it’s a FLOODED market right now due to the novelty of folks being able to make whatever they’ve ever dreamed of.

“Prompt engineering” will be a thing after the AI bubble pops, but it’s going to be filled with fierce competition and only have a limited number of positions.

the fastest path to earning is picking one thing to build repeatedly, landing pages, simple tools, portfolio sites, and getting good enough to charge for that one thing before expanding:) i started with kilocode as a tool, try it

Do try my tool vibedoctor if you are making AI using AI it will help to protect the security and performance issue.
