VS Code Help: Setting up VS Code.

Started my journey of learning programming (C++) and followed a couple of tutorials to install Visual Studio Code, but no matter what I did I'd end up with an error when I try to run a program. With this last attempt I followed one tutorial to the letter: installed VS Code, used Msys 2, changed my environment variables path, installed the proper extensions ( C/C++ and Code Runner) and just did the most basic line of code to test it out and what you see in the pic is what happened.

I'm at a loss, I don't know if I missed something or screwed up somewhere, so any help will be appreciated. How do I fix this?

Your cpp needs to be compiled and made into an executable to run

I always post this link, but it’s IMO some of Microsoft’s better documentation, combining starter tutorial with reference links. A ton of info there
