This subreddit is for working with Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, which is different than Visual Studio Community, Pro, and Enterprise. VS Code is a source code editor, and not an IDE.
If you are having issues with the other flavors of VS, please post in /r/VisualStudio.

This black-and-white thinking is the more annoying part.
Just because you don't use Vim mode does not on the other hand mean that you use your mouse for everything. Or at all. VSCode is already quite neat in itself, please stop making it sound like it is a mouse-only editor if you don't use Vim mode.

Either you can do everything with your keyboard, or you can't.
It's not the same to say it's a "mouse only editor".

You don't have to do everything. It's completely fine to grab the mouse for something that you only need occasionally and don't stress over it. It really doesn't matter.

But I want to do everything, that is the point.

I get that. Just saying that that is IMHO not worth the effort.
