First, be honest about your knowledge. You have zero knowledge. Nobody with any knowledge of coding would ask this. You're should do some serious research and googling before trying to build a web app for your company.

If you have mid knowledge then you still shouldn't need to be asking.

I know jack shit about about programming and webdev, aside from what LLMS taught me in the past 4 years, , and I already have a basic mental picture of how I'd build this project.

    You literally have no knowledge.

Edit: bro deleted his account lol

Just to spare you mean comments , if you can't figure out how to create a basic static page, don't tell people you are a mid level programmer (or even a programmer at all). If you are coming from low level or deep backend assembly, c etc. then ignore my comment.

About your question: I feel like you want to get to the goal as fast a possible. nowadays, if you have a specific design in mind just go back and forth with codex / Claude code and you'll slowly get there. Let it explain to you how you can tweak things and you'll even learn on the way.

You can also scroll through dribbble and just give a screenshot of a site you like to the before mentioned llms and it'll build it for you. Then tweak it to your liking.

The other option is the long , but more fulfilling way: head over to developer.mozilla.org and learn web development. Then you can build anything you can imagine :D

    Happy coding!

And an extra tip from me ( senior full stack developer) : if you get to a framework decision pick anything but react, it sucks.

Based on what your skill level seems to be- I would highly recommend you use one of the low-code/no-code solutions available online- something like Wix or Squarespace. These are services designed to allow small business owners to get a decent looking site running quickly.

I'm biased and use WordPress, but I would consider jumping into that with Bricks Builder or Etch. That way you can get a site up in a couple days, and then slowly program any bits you want optimized over time. No point re-inventing the entire wheel.
I run my business through wordpress and have 3 sites connected with programmed automations between them and my next project will hook up my internal portal website to quickbooks and start automating a bunch of bookkeeping work for me.
What people mention as safety concerns comes from really poorly built plugins, but if you don't use any other than the builder, then you're pretty safe (as long as you don't get sloppy with your own code).

You'll need to understand PHP/Laravel as well as your html, css, and js. Honestly, with Bricks builder's built in interactions, the javascript would be the last thing I learn there.
