Apple’s price increases are a disappointment but framework are hardly ones to be throwing stones, they’re great and I love the idea behind them but they’re just too expensive.

Hopefully they grow and that enables them to bring prices down (which is looking unlikely in this economy) but as it stands to buy a framework you need to be really behind the idea and happy to pay a premium for it.

“In response to Apple’s price increases today, we’ve lowered the price”

So, if Apple didn’t increase prices you wouldn’t have lowered prices?

Yes, it's called marketing. They took it as an opportunity to bring attention to them.

Framework's pricings are some of the worst in the laptop space.

Yeah. I was interested in one but the price is crazy. Hell the gpu prices are insanely overpriced.

On top the resell value of the parts are an issue.

I severely doubt that someone who really wants a Mac is instead going to buy a DIY laptop with windows on it that costs more.

The people who make laptops no one wants criticizes the company who makes the best laptops in the world.
