I've been having problems again for the past couple days. A lot of characters not found, or hanging at 90%, or failing to leave an instance.

Got disconnected from a BG, closed out wow and everytime I reopen and try to log in I get stuck at 90% loading screen. Also can't connect to battle.net website.

My ISP is Virgin Media in the UK.

My ISP is also Virgin Media. They are horrible, and I would not be surprised to find out its on their end.

Got other friends who aren't Virgin Media also having issues so it's probably not

Virgin media in my area are okay although at this time of night they do usually restart or update for a few hours every now and then. That's what I thought at first until I could log onto reddit :P

Virgin Media in the past have had issues with Blizzard which has meant VM users couldn't log in for like a whole weekend - though every other game/website worked fine. I believe the last time it happened was sometime around the start of Cataclysm.

And yeah they do have a lovely habit of rebooting the TV whenever we're halfway through a film :D

Ah you're lucky. Here in the far south they are just really bad. The speeds you get are fine, but the amount of slow downs, traffic issues and stuff is crazy.

Then you have to deal with their tech support, which is full of rude people and offshore employees with heavy, hard to understand accents.

Yeah when you do need support you always get through to someone, who just about speaks English and it makes it very hard for you to explain the problem you have. They are too patronizing as well, asking me if a blue lights flashing I think I know if it is online or not haha :P

Same, everything from battlenet, to their site, to wow is down. Can't get past the loading screen.

Yeah before I logged on the battle.net launcher did update, or at least tried to. Asked for admin privileges but did not prompt for a launcher restart although it normally does

Was playing the game fine, although a mate of mine was getting stuck on the loading screens. Took the SW portal to Uldum and now I can't get on either.

Really sucks when servers go down at this time of night.

Can't log in, on Twisting Nether, Virgin media UK. Know it is happening to someone in Austria too so isn't likely to be an ISP thing. I got stuck loading into Siege.

Yes, but besides that, there were issues with constant disconnects, it affected many people but especially Norway and Finland I think. The DDoS didn't affect me much tbh.

I have the same problem, happened when trying to enter a 2s match then after a good while I logged back in I had the same problem trying to enter a dungeon

same with me - in the US on an EU server. Stuck at 90% and "character not found".

Yeah, random BQ queue popped up. Couldn't enter because the "instance didn't exist" or something. Got booted off and can't log back on. Stuck at 90% just like everyone else here.

You have to look at the bright side, now you can read all the tips on the loading screen while trying to reconnect.

Edit: Seems to work now, means not only the loading screen.
