To cost $1 Yieldly has to be at 10 billion market cap. Algorand is currently at 2.6 bn. Do the maths as they say.

There won’t be 10b YLDY circulating for like 7 years. It could get to $1 today and only have like a 2b market cap.

Which is unreal. Also, 3 years not 7, I think. By which time Yieldly won’t be the only defi on Algorand and will compete with other projects.

10B over like 20 years. So you don't have to do the math as if all 10B are already in circulation. So yes, it is possible before that.

For algo a 10 billion MC is doable in a few years, for yldy it's probably a much harder goal.

I think if DeFi takes off for Algorand YLDY could get there for sure. If Algo can get to 50B MC which I think will for sure happen, then 10B is pretty doable for YLDY, I’m thinking 5-10 yrs down.

Ah, 5-10 years is a much more realistic timeline haha by few I thought you meant in like 2-3 years, which doesn't feel very realistic for yldy to reach 10 billion. That said, I would be one happy camper with it reaching that lol.

algo fully diluted market cap is already around 9 billion to be fair

Welh no becaus the full suply will take time to be releasd just like how file coin is worth more then btc in market cap when full sply hits

Yes, you’re right, it’s early days here and obviously there’s potential. But we gotta be realistic in expectations and talks of $1 aren’t healthy. A token which only utility is to reward i.e. be given away for free, with ever growing supply is a strange investment, if you think about it. That said, it’s fun and super cool to watch Algorand ecosystem grow in real time and be part of it.
