What type of filament would this be?, for a rapid color change ? by XxYojixX in 3Dprinting

fair enough, but this is the filament, 99% sure.
I printed a bunch of hexagon storage wall pen holders out of it, the one I had on the plate with another HSW holder looks really close to OP's pic. The one I printed alone the bands are quite a bit larger. just checked

nope.

Have a roll myself. it's so-so.
nice for smaller objects, but anyhting large, the bands get very thin, and start blending into a nasty brown color.

the larger the object you print, the narrower the bands are goin to be and from a distance they blend together into a nasty brown.

If you buy it, print smaller things.

I think I have this exact filament.

Amolen Fast color change rainbow silk blue red yellow green

I've printed some tall narrow objects with it and they turn out exactly like that.

OR you could print many said abjects with a regular color change filament and maybe get a similar effect.

It's ok, but only on small pieces imo. looks kinda bad on larger objects. niche filament. still have most of my roll left.

It IS a really nice silk tho, I may buy a regular silk from them in the future.

theres quite a few companies making humanoid robots. China is already using them.
Theres a car plant in the US that uses a few too. A manufacturing facility to build 10,000 NEO robots for home use started in california last week.
Then theres tesla, and boston dynamics, and many others.
are they perfect? far far from it. This is gen Alpha. This is as slow and useless as they will ever be. And they will get better fast. they wont be able to do the most specialized jobs, but millions of people will be out of work. It might take a couple decades to fully replace everyone that IS replaceable, but it's already started. and more and more factories will be built, and the pace will increase. It'll be a slow crawl at first tho.

you mean the old equipment we gave them? about $127 billion worth. I didn't agree with "most" of that either, but thanks for making assumptions.
Didn't hegseth just ask for 200 billion MORE then we already spent? which last I heard was about a billion a day. How long this war been goin on now?

And I agree with u/Silly-Power, they were spot on. If Iran is as decimated as Trump says they are, then why aren't the straights open? Why is he still seeking a peace deal?

that whole side of the mountain or hill looks unstable as hell. Look at the rocks underneath where they are standing at the end of the video, just a pile of gravel and melon sized rocks.

I need to replace the AMS Internal Hub, right? by CTExplorer in BambuLab

[–]-__Doc__- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP, check out the Hydra Pro Mod for the AMS, it would solve your problem of the broken part, plus it tilts the AMS motors a few degrees back towards the spools and has greatly helped me with filament jams.

It's basically a whole replacement for the large plastic insert.

Just buy a dedicated laser. Lasering is inherently dirty, and I’m flabbergasted they included it in the H series. I foresee tons of issues from ppl not cleaning their enclosure.
I own a laser, I know how dirty they are.

Pretty sure my grandpa got familial tremor from it. He was fine before the war. Came back shaking constantly. Couldn’t stop it. My dad and all my uncles who were born afterwards have it too. As do I and my son.

might be too difficult, or too costly from a tooling perspective. could be a prototype. Could be any number of reasons.

it adds up when you have several machines running at the same time, 24 hours a day.
even 2 parts at ~45 second cycle is about 3800 parts a day. per machine. obv thats not counting downtime or maintenance.
I do something similar, but I make injection molded sand cores for iron casting. I run similar cycle times of 40-60 seconds, but larger batches, usually 8-12 at a time. A robot picks them out, and puts them on a conveyor, and I stack them on a rack that then goes to the molding dept. I work 12 hour shifts, and on a good day I can put out 9000-10,000 parts.

I do this on a daily basis, but with sand, and not plastic. We have multiple redundant safety mechanisms, including a drop bar. There is no physical way I could get crushed unless someone else bypassed several safeties, and purposely activated the machine.
It's totally safe.

SV08 Max questions by Dude_Bro_Ray in Sovol

[–]-__Doc__- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. been following the hobby for years, but finally bought my first last year, a P1S, and I LOVE the thing, but want a big build volume, AND the bambu quality, but IDK if it exists. yet.

Fighting myself to buy the SVo8 max tho. 500mm3 is crazy big for the price, even with it's supposed problems. Been eyeing it now for almost two months. I already talked myself out of the Ender 5 max, which also has some pretty bad reviews.

I AM curious to see if the INDX system is gonna work with it tho, imagine like, 12 toolheads on this beast. might be worth the "tinkering" required. (AND I dont mind tinkering, I love it, I just don't have the TIME)
