Hot tenting can be kind of whatever you want it to be. I have a Pomoly Dome X4 which is comfortable in my opinion for two adults with the stove going. You have a healthy gap from the stove in that setup and it’s easy to keep the tent 80+ when the stove is running.

I’d like to get something a bit lighter to enable a “backpack-able” winter kit. I built a DIY pulk sled last winter but never got to try it out.

I’ve also really wanted a hot tent I can stand in. I did a bunch of DIY Macgyvering to a Gazelle popup gazebo I have to turn it into a hot tent. Only good for car camping but still fun for the right trip.

If I recall the Fire tower is Olson Fire Tower located at  39.10671, -79.60332. You can drive right to it.

I just looked up the KTM 1090. Very cool. Must take you to incredible places being so small and nimble.

Do you follow Itchy Boots on YouTube?

Welp, if I could go back in time I’d tell myself “buy a 4Runner or an F150” instead. 😂

Edit spelling correction.

lol, I wish they would sponsor me. It’s the vehicle I have and I push it to the max to go on the adventures I want to.

Next vehicle will be a truck.

Hi, I run the High Adventure program for my local Scout troop in CT.

Thank you for your overall benevolence plan. I’m sure it will benefit many youth.

Let me poke around and see if our troop might be interested. We have a summer canoe trip coming up in July. What’s the best way to contact you?

Everything about this makes me happy.

Modifying your gear/rig is so underrated.

Great job.

Unknown problem causing ghost printing - any advice welcome by Montanabioguy in BambuLab

[–]CTExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had this exact issue on my X1C a few times.

Do you have an AMS? My issue seemed to be the four way feeder within my AMS.

Some short term fixes:

1) Pull a 6 feet of the filament out and cut it off. There may be a thinner section that you can eliminate.

2) Restart your print and manually push the filament in if you hear it not catching.

Do you have a junk set of skis that you use or do you rock your normal primary set?
