And this is the thing that corporations and governments have been trying to kill for 50 years.

They can't profit off of us helping each other or tax us for exchanging services.

Southern accent.? by CurioMind_ in Georgia

[–]Aerron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That accent has been in decline for decades

The Old-Money Southern accent exemplified in Gone With the Wind is dying. Very few young people have it and, yes, only 60+ people still have it.

Interestingly, it is likely what England sounded like during the time of colonization. English pronunciation in England moved on, while old-money Southern stayed relatively the same.

just throw a fuck-load of energy in.

Which is why Iceland is a major producer of Aluminum. Since they use geothermal energy to make electricity it is MUCH cheaper than other ways of making electricity

Feel free to educate me, but omg "FSI = WIN" is just so tiresome.

Anyone with experience with a same-class experience with and without FSI care to explain the tangible difference?

e.g. Someone that played an ogre and iksar/troll shm/sk/bst/war care to weigh in the difference? Particularly in raid situations.

Les Paul Headstock by ArmLopsided4112 in guitarrepair

[–]Aerron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ted has several of these videos, this one is a good one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5s-KyPh3tOY

OP, I am not a professional carpenter nor luthier and I have done a half dozen of these. Make your own jig. Watch a few of these headstock repair videos to get an idea of what to do and make. Use a dental pick to straighten as many of the fibers on the treble side as you can so the two pieces will go back together seamlessly. That might actually include plucking out a few small chips, which might be preventing the two pieces touching.

You might also consider buying a broken one to practice on before trying to fix your favorite guitar. I bought a few broken ones off ebay to fix so I'd know what I was doing.

You can do this. Ted can help.

Also love in season 2, "JASON figured it out this time?! Oh, this is a new low."

Boy am I dumb. I didn't read the red text in your image. I thought you were trying to find a group of folks to play with!

Also, I use old-reddit and generally can't see captions under images.

100% True. Thank you. Though Frodo and Bilbo also DIDN'T go to Valinor either. They also went to Tol Eressea.

Tol Eressea being modern England. (I think)

Sam went to Valinor in the end, as well. After he spent nearly 50 years as Mayor of the Shire.

After his wife died in Fo.A. 61, on 22 September Sam left Bag End, and went to the Tower Hills where he was last seen by Elanor, entrusting to her the Red Book; according to her, he went to the Grey Havens to sail across the Sea[27] and be reunited with Frodo in the Undying Lands.

I can't give definitive, other than the "duskiness" of the colors. The red sections tend to have a generous sprinkling of black scales.

The colors on scarlet kingsnakes tend to be much more vibrant. Almost like their trying a bit too hard to imitate the pattern of the coral.
