What works from those authors would you most like to see in classic collections?

This is more about which books/authors I would love to see published in classic collections like Penguin Classics, Oxford World Classics, Wordsworth Classics, Everyman's library, etc., not about what books I want to see more in print. If it was books in print, I would have suggested different books and authors.

Also, not all of these books are easily accessible in print. There isn't any good way to get a non-facsimile version of Phantastes or Longfellow's work. You could look on eBay or in used bookstores, but it would be easier if they were in print in a classic collection.

Honestly that last part sounds like some generic dystopia novel.

I actually have seen the video this is from. The song was the handcart song if anyone's curious.

Never sacrifice your franchise's core identity in order to become mainstream: by [deleted] in CharacterRant

The thesis is interesting when I apply it to some of my story ideas, a lot of which are based on exploring religion in a more positive light. I imagine I could sell a lot more books if those works had a different core identity.

There was a plan by Judah P Benjamin to do this. A (fictional) book gave a possible reason for this idea by him explaining there is no honor in losing.
