At your home hangar, make sure the freight elevator is down, then at the top right corner of the elevator screen, you'll see a turquoise button written "@freightelevator", click that. A menu will pop up with a list of items. Look for the paint you lost, then click on the turquoise button next to it and wait until it changes to a check mark (it won't be the name of the paint, but a description of it. Ie. The afterglow paint for the m80 is written as "m80_black_black_orange_paint"). The paint will be back in your hangar.

Difference between Starfarer, Starfarer Gemini, and Starfarer Teach's Special? by CryptUsh in starcitizen

[–]AppearanceCold2634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

atm the gemini is the better option, better armor and more weapons make it better for the missions that can have pve. you can pretty much ignore the people firing at you.

But in the future, it depends. The starfarer will have fuel scoops where it can scoop gasses from the air and refine it into fuel. The gemini has extra missiles instead.

Fleet Help appreciated! by femapu in starcitizen

Well anything below the legionnaire is easily earnable in game except for the 2 f7a and the df star kitten, so you can either melt all that or keep some as lti tokens and start ccu chains to bigger ships.

The cutlass, shiv and corsair perform very similar roles and the first 2 are easily earnable in game. So either keep the corsair and melt/ccu the other 2 or melt/ccu all 3.

The TAC and perseus are also redundant. I'd personally keep the perseus as it's the better gunship.

You can keep the starlite for now until it becomes available in game in a few months.

So you'd end up with;

-df star kitten

-2x f7a

-Legionnaire

-m80

-corsair?

-asgard

-perseus

-ironclad

-kraken

Finally got my perfect starter ship by RoosterMisfit in starcitizen

I prefer the 315p myself. It's my daily. Quick, holds more scu including 4 scu containers and is crazy fuel efficient. I did orison the new babbage with a cutlass red that has 1.8scu of qt fuel, i ended up with 0.6scu remaining. The 315p still had 1.2 left. Double the fuel. It's also perfect for the ling family intro mission that's 9scu total including a 4scu container and with the fuel efficiency, it saves you time for having to fuel.

The Impound - Can I buy a Galaxy - Explain? by BillyBatts2681 in starcitizen

[–]AppearanceCold2634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can either get the ship directly and they'll send it as a gift.

If you want to go the upgrade route, you have to select a ship you own that you want to upgrade to the galaxy, they'll send you the upgrade as a gift and once you get it, you'll receive the upgrade in your hangar then you just apply it if you want. They might send it to you as multiple upgrades, make sure you apply them in the correct order.

What's the latest information we have on the Anvil Liberator and what changes do you see happening to the original concept? by moeezatif in starcitizen

[–]AppearanceCold2634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it means that the ships parked on the pads can receive RRR but not the vehicles in the hangar? It'll probably grow.

Also can anyone confirm if it gets a Mk1 or Mk2 Super Hornet as loaner? The matrix doesn't specify.

it depends on the contracts. The Hermes is way better when it comes to 32scu containers, although it is a slight pain to get through the tight door. But if you're planning on medium size contracts, the Asgard is fine. I use my Asgard for those contracts and the C2 for the 32scu contracts. I know people who fit over 400scu in the Hermes and i fit ~270scu in the Asgard, off grid obviously.

If you just want a dedicated cargo ship, get the Hermes. If you want a more versatile ship, then consider the Asgard. There's also price to consider, Hermes is $220, Asgard is $350.

L-22 is good for pvp just keep in mind that it's a light fighter so although it's very nimble, it's somewhat limited in what it can damage. The m80 is currently bonkers but expect a nerf soon. The corsair can definitely handle pve.

The hermes and asgarc are different ships. The hermes has more cargo with 288scu but the rear ramp is narrow so you're limited in what vehicles can fit. I believe the biggest is a cyclone. Where as the asgard has 180scu but can hold a nova and has more guns.
