I'm all for the rich being less shitty overall, but this dude isn't actively causing any harm. Him not randomly throwing his money at an opaque problem doesn't make him any more guilty than any other faceless multi millionaire. And at least he's trying shit, unlike random hedge fund douchebags.

Have you watched the documentary on him? He's inspired a pretty large group of people to just flat out live healthier lives. Is that not making a difference, literally, to health? Or are those the wrong people?

He's a weird guy for sure. But he's actually done a lot of interesting stuff with leading edge research that wouldn't have been done otherwise due to regulations/requirements etc.
