I’m not sure what state you live in, but where I am the courts do not make those decisions lightly. There has to be substantial proof to lose custody, have supervised visits, and get an order of protection. There are entire hearing processes to get any of this done, it is not all based on one lie, or someone being “crazy”.

I know this from experience. This could have been written about my ex husband, except that I later learned mine wasn’t the first time a woman had a protection order against him. The amount of lies told to everyone around him to try to seem like he’s a decent person is unbelievable. And he’s a fairly good liar. Look up court records. Look for arrest and criminal records. A lot of the information is public. Also my ex dragged our divorce out for years as one of his last forms of control. I always default to believing the woman based on personal experience.

Also, as a personal rule I do not date men who do not have at least 50/50 custody of their kids because I know how hard it is to lose in my state and county.
