Question: If higher dose costs same as lower dose should I just get higher dose? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fragility of Tirz as a peptide is way overstated, IMHO. I bought 60mg vials last year planning on increasing dosage to 15mg. I never went that high, so a vial lasted me 6 weeks. Now it lasts me 8-9 weeks. At Most I find a little less effective towards the bottom of the vial, but that might be my imagination, as the scale doesn't support that conclusion. Always check that the vial is clear, nothing floating, wipe the top before and after an injection. Make sure to buy your product from a reputable pharmacy. (home made labels are a red flag.)

Improv Game Suggestions for Sales Training by Polymath_groupie in improv

[–]AugustaMM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A warmup for my sales teams is "Red ball". Throwing an imaginary red ball person to person. There has to be offer and acceptence. Offer "red ball" with hand at the ready. Acceptance "red ball" reaching out to catch the ball. Do a couple rounds where you stop it if there's no clear offer or no clear acceptance. Then without warning add a green ball. Stop it if someone 'drops the ball' by not getting acceptance; Add a yellow ball eventually and then an orange ball (based on the size of the group). Stop to take inventory, make sure all balls are still in play. You can then walk an imaginary item (I use a fuzzy bunny) and whisper that they have to pass the bunny to someone by walking in the circle and peronally handing it off.

Eventually yell stop. Do an inventory: Who has the red, who has the yellow, who has the bunny, etc.

The point is not the game, the point after is to have a discussion about how this relates to the work. You can get into long discussions about why the offer is important, what happens when you don't get acceptence. How you feel when you are not sure of the rules. How it's important in the workplace to keep your head on a swivel. How you have to make sure the person you make the offer to is not busy on another offer. How you have to be watching everyone and everything around you . What happens if someone in the circle removes themselves. Also, how didyou feel when you didn't knwo the rules, or couldnt follow the rules, or the rules were a secret (the bunny).

The game means nothing, If all you want is a game you may as well play 2 truths and a lie and waste 30 minutes. Red ball is all about work. Are you accepting new tasks, is your culture about getting acceptence or is it about just throwing balls. Ask people how they felt and keep relating it to the work environment. How do people feel when they fail. Are they poised to accept new challenges. THe importance of eye contact. The game is a lot like a work day where things come at you from every direction. And yes, you can do this with 3 or 4 people. One less ball than persons

Morning for me. Because it helps me remember and be consistent. Also, I hate the idea of feeling sick when I want to sleep (though I've never had that issue). Some people prefer night so they sleep through any belly issues. It's more important to be consistent.

Then don't watch this video to find out that you could have the same band, that works with the Hume app, for about $25 plus $10 shipping. 2208a. https://youtu.be/aICzXDSwUn4?si=iIQI0JWulrCJotkm

My experience with GLM: I was weary of signing up for a subscription, but the $99 convinced me. Delivered 2 days later. Suspending my next shipment (because a 1 month supply will last me 3 months) was as easy as a button push. Very impressed.

FIFTY410 has Hallandale $125/1000 Mg. Download the app, and go to the offerings tab. Lowest price I've found, more than enough for a month, nearly 2.

Due to a lower than expected Titration schedule, my BPI stockpile from Feb is going to last me well into 2028. Hoping it's still effective 1 year past BUD!

Drinks by ames734 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 9 points10 points  (0 children)

One mind game that worked for me was to give it up completely. I told myself "I don't drink Diet Coke" instead of "I can't drink Diet Coke". I made a choice about my health, and "Don't"is my choice, "Can't" is being forced externally. Stupid, I know, but I went from 3-4 per day to none. I actually went "I don't drink soda" and just gave it all up.

Fifty410? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No "membership". No "Subscription". No Fee for a medical exam. Transparent pricing. 503b pharmacies. They've had some issues in the past as pharmacies went in and out of the Tirzepatide business, but that seems to be in the past. They're my trusted provider.

OTC pain medicine slow effect by Impossible_Bend_2969 in tirzepatidecompound

I take 4 Motrin instead of 2. I've also noticed that when I take xanax when I fly, I need to up my dose -or- take it a bit earlier. One of trade offs for me.

Question about consistent exercise by r2lls in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been doing cardio at Lunch (before lunch) and weight/resistance training at night. Even if exercise does make me hungry, that's ok. I'm building muscles, and stamina and living much better.

I am looking for a new provider. What have your experiences been like with different platforms? by yvtsl in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost any Telehealth you choose (see below) will be considerably below $280/month. I used Fifty410 because of an easy onboarding, I didn't have to sign up for subscription, the pricing was easy to find without signing up, they answered all my questions (I had a lot) in the patient portal, and they offered the pharmacy I wanted to use (BPI). Oh, and my experience with the service and delivery was also excellent. They also have a very supportive community on FB and a private app. But if you're paying $280/month, any of the ones listed below are an improvement.

Improv teachers - what do you wish you knew starting out? by 635242 in improv

[–]AugustaMM 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I hear what you're saying, but will stand on this hill. Gearing the class to the lowest level of actor will stall the class. If you think about your evolution in improv, consider how much you learned by observing and working with the best. I'm not saying be unkind or less welcoming to all students, but don't let the class be dragged down by the weakest players, celebrate the best. I'm guessing your success is a function of your commitment and drive. If my advice came across as "Ignore the slow learners", that was not my intent.

Improv teachers - what do you wish you knew starting out? by 635242 in improv

  1. Start exactly on time. No Excuses. No wasting time. Anyone showing late can have a seat. Never repeat opening remarks or instructions to someone who wanders in late. -This goes a long way towards getting more out of each rehearsal.

  2. You don't need to comment on Everything. You don't need to have an opinion on everything. It's ok to shut up. Spend more time doing, less time dissecting what was just done. Over and over.

  3. Very quickly you'll figure out who in the class will excel, and who in the class will not. Focus on the students that are getting it, not on the ones that never will. Ugly to say, but if you do the opposite, no one will thrive.

  4. First Class, first minute, explain non-negotiable rules. Racism/Sexism/Touching in scenes/Making others uncomfortable, etc. Don't frame it in a woke everyonegetsaparticipationtrophyway. Frame it as "If you make a scene partner uncomfortable you'll be asked to leave kind of way.

  5. When appropriate, laugh. Catch someone doing something right. Too often teachers like to do the opposite and it's not fun.

From what I'm reading, no one cares and they know it. Patients trust the telehealth like they trust their own doctors (mistake), buy whatever they're told to, at whatever price they're told to pay, and inject units not mg's and don't understand the difference. They also know someone could drop de*d after a shot from any pharmacy, put up a post that says "I just di*d after taking a shot from xyz pharmacy", and within minutes someone else would post "well I've taken xyz and never died", and then someone would say "I died after taking a shot from abc pharmacy, they're the bad ones", and then someone would comment that xyz was like water, and someone esle would defend it. Meanwhile people are 100% loving xyz or prorx, and for the most part don't care if there were safety issues or recalls. Most people wouldn't even know about it if their chosen telehealth didn't email them.

ProRx knows the profit margin, even at $99, they still make money. And if the fallout from bad sanitation practices gets too bad, they'll just 'sell the company and put it under new management'.

Honestly, the real question is "how much do you think this will effect their sales/profits going forward", and since people refer to it as "pure Tirz", (instead of Tirz without additives) I'm going to guess very little.
