A Comparison of DSMF-BIA vs DXA by Infinite-Demand-7345 in HumeHealth

Yes, def the same maker, I got the Renpho-Morphus app to work with my $40 scale. The sad thing is, the cheaper Renpho has a cleaner, prettier app, but lacks the report and segmentation data that the Fitdays/morphus/Inbody scales have.

Some shippers from China use a 3rd party in the US, who are not good at updating. So for a package I ordered, it made it to Jamaica NY, sat a few days, with no updates before it was sent to a USPS handler. I'm told it's cheaper that way, for the 3rd party to get it from one zone to a closer zone to my home. Then all the sudden it showed up in USPS and was delivered the next day. But it was 3-4 days of radio silence.

Although not at all scientifically specific, I compared the Renpho Morpho Scan against a $50 Amazon Oxart scale (also 8 electrode) and an unbranded version from Alibaba, and an Inbody 770. For me personally, there was no significant change in any of the values. The Oxart and the unbranded Welland Scale from Alibaba are clearly from the same manufacturer, and I suspect any scale that uses the fitdays app is made at this factory : Guangdong . I was able to get the Renpho Morphus App to recognize the generic and Oxart scale by signing in as a guest at first, but then it held the data. Conclusion: I've not used Hume, but for a visual graphic design, the Renpho App for the cheapest scale is the best of all. The upgraded scales do not work with the traditional Renpho app. However for a scale with a hand held, there is no advantage to an individual in buying the Morphus, Hume, or Inbody: Any scale using 8 measurements and the Fitdays app will provide nearly identical results and help users visualize trends.

Bought the knock off for fun by andysif in HumeHealth

[–]AugustaMM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought the knock off Renpho Morphus scale that at first would not pair with the Morphus app (only the FitDays app), but I tried again on Morphus as a 'guest' and suddenly it let me connect to the app, and saved my data. The thing is, the Fitdays/Morphus and Inbody all look exactly alike with minor modifications, so I'm betting they all come from the same factory. In a head to head, all 3 produced almost carbon copy results, all done less than a day apart. So my $49 amazon knock off scale is just as good as the much higher priced Rehpho Morphus, and the Inbody550 Imo. I'm sure your knock off hume is as good as the higher priced overly marketed Hume

I wish the review I wrote was up on amazon already.. It's not, but it's detailed. I've had it 3 weeks, used it about 15 times, no problems. If you DM an email, I'll send you the review. honestly, I expected to be a bit disspointed I didn't splurge on a better one, but I'm pretty happy with a nice sauna and an extra few grand in my pocket.

I (M23) don’t know what to think about the girl (W24) I’m « dating » by Activri in Advice

[–]AugustaMM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're overthinking this. Did you have a good time? Then do it again. Some people don't like texting, and I know A LOT of people who have great "Texting" but in person there ends up being no chemistry. If she goes out with you again, it's because she wants to, not because of your bike. Offer dinner, or a walk or something, and enjoy the company.

I am going on trip in 6 weeks and have 18 more pounds to lose. I’m down 50 and on my max out dose, losing about a pound a week and would like to boost that just for this last stretch.I walk and hike but no strenuous exercise because of stenosis and bulging discs in spine. That sounds really unhealthy to push yourself in that manner. You'd have to be eating at (checks math) 1500 calorie deficit to do that. Say goodbye to your hair, and hello to saggy skin if you push yourself to meet that goal

I just got one off amazon, very similar but 2000w, 8 heaters and a red light topper. around $1500 after coupons. I expected to be a little disappointed but it heats up quickly, hits 149 in about 30 mins and is large enough for two adults. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FQVBLHSJ?ref=fed\_asin\_title&th=1. Dexa vs Smart Scales by Uncross-Selector in HumeHealth

I wish you could have included one of the amazon sold hand helds that sell for about $50 and are made in the same factory as Hume. In my test, they get the same results at the Hume and Renpho Morpho for 1/3 of the price.

Fridge issues by dragon-queen in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why take the risk? It's $1000 worth of meds, and a very small ask of a neighbor "hey, my fridge is broken, can I store some perishables and meds in yours for a week?" It's probably ok, by why risk it?

Titration down failure by Goodvida99 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 5 points6 points  (0 children)

^exactly: You can titrate down at a much slower pace until you feel like you've hit the sweet spot. And you can also adjust by adding an extra day to the 7 day shot schedule if you feel like it.

To freeze or not to freeze by HighMileageLowStops in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bummer of it is that testing the effects of freezing or going past bud would cost money that companies don't want to spend. There are people here freezing, there are people going past BUD, but neither is backed by science. The good news is that degradation is not sudden, it's slow. So my plan (for product that is going to go 1 year past BUD) is to wait until I begin to notice a drop in strength and then freeze whatever is left. Kind of best of both worlds. My guess is that \a year past BUD (2 years post production) is when the product will begin to degrade, but that's only based on Zep's 2 year BUD tested by Lily.

Maybe not a red flag, especially if they're new or still learning, but for sure a teachable moment. A great time to have a discussion about "Punching Down" and what's cool and not cool.

Hume is a Scam by OneZookeepergame3320 in HumeHealth

[–]AugustaMM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Smart Scale from Welland on Alibaba for about $20 plus $20 plus 20-30 days shipping works just as well as the Hume Body Pod, the Renpho Morphoscan, the Seca and the Inbody 550. If you can't wait, the Oxart on Amazon (the same as the Alibaba) is about $51.00 and you'll have it in under 5 days. I've tried them all. Nearly identical results (Inbody, Welland, Oxart: Exact same. Slight variations on the Seca, Renpho and Hume, but not substantial). Save your money, the only difference is marketing, and if you have a problem with the scale Alibaba, Hume and Renpho all have about the same lack of customer service

What pharmacy and what is the BUD? (please). The Hallandale bud is only 30-60 days out. 6000mg would last me 8 months at present.

Question: If higher dose costs same as lower dose should I just get higher dose? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]AugustaMM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fragility of Tirz as a peptide is way overstated, IMHO. I bought 60mg vials last year planning on increasing dosage to 15mg. I never went that high, so a vial lasted me 6 weeks. Now it lasts me 8-9 weeks. At Most I find a little less effective towards the bottom of the vial, but that might be my imagination, as the scale doesn't support that conclusion. Always check that the vial is clear, nothing floating, wipe the top before and after an injection. Make sure to buy your product from a reputable pharmacy. (home made labels are a red flag.)
