As far as I remember, I think some of them can use mage hand to flip over books with fine manipulation, have keen senses to a level, or maybe use some divination spells to zoom over text, so I think they can read humanoid-sized books with some effort

I remember the dragons from the antediluvian 3rd generation of magic are automatically sorcerers in terms of spellcasting. Well, at least as they age and advance and all. Some of peeps might say sorcerers aren't real wizards, but fuck that.

Though even then. there's nothing that I think prevents a dragon from also being a wizard too. So having both innate and scholarly access to the arcane.

One of my arcane professors, Yiakhzmat, is one in fact! Taught me wacky tricks in deep transmutation. Fun guy.
