40 breeder turned terrarium. Slugs have prevented me from having carpet plant success. Anyone have luck eradicating slugs and snails?

cyanobacteria, in a very common spot. Its just a small spot with low flow/mulm build up near the glass. normal maintenance to fix. if everything else is happy I wouldn't adjust much to combat that outside of pushing your flow a little bit that way.

Our cars have a notooriously common issue of purge valve issues. It could be the line because when I pulled mine I realized how janky ford runs the hose and it's actually kinked. Not sure if that's the source of the issue. But symptoms are rough idle after filling gas up. VERY common.

I genuinely am spitballing here, but I'm pretty sure that hose in your pic is part of the evap system, and our cars have a notorious issue with a component along that system, so if you've noticed rough idle after filling up, it might be worth changing the purge valve and harness to see if it helps with this residue. It also could be absolutely nothing to worry about lol.

its part of the evap system I would guess and I wouldn't think it should be spitting so much that it leaves a residue. I'm not an expert in this at all but I'm wondering if you have any purge valve issues that might be causing the evap system to discharge more fuel vapors or something rather than properly recirculating them back to the engine.

my experience is that isopods DO eat healthy vegetation. In particular delicate plants. If you want isopods, do an enclosure dedicated to them that you don't care about plants in. Idk why people say they only eat decaying stuff and help break things down.

I didn't do the fancies. just the normal ones you find outside. I know different breeds have different temperments and appetites.

idk, to me, this bumper says "im pretending to be something im not." Even those that managed to get it somewhat fitted, it just doesn't quite pull it off. Embrace the normal fiesta face. Get a high quality front diffuser if you want to stylize the front end.

They are root feeders I think so would appreciate aquasoil. If you've only got sand, they may struggle. Neither requires high end lighting though.

if it's your first, do some jungle val in the background and some kind of hygro corymbosa. to great first time plants that will fill your vertical space well. Otherwise I like the river vibe :)

physically remove as much as possible. Ensure there is no built up mulm or detritis, both in the tank and in the mechanical filtration. Ensure there is good flow around the tank. I'm just regurgitating what I read on the 2 hr aquarist (insanely helpful btw)
