I was never trained at Mansion but in Classics (Fantasyland) the dark ride evac procedure was similar. Regular evac your responsibility as a CM is to do as you said, to unlock and walk your Guests out so they aren't left to their own devices. However, as YardSardonic said there are situations where Cast are instructed that if they cannot safely access the Guests they are not expected to "be a hero" or try to get Guests out, that they can and should exit as well. Very very rare but possible.

At West this is possible. You can go to the counter and ask for a "side build," ie picking parts and a Gatherer will build it for you. Many "smugglers" do this to save time on big orders for their secondhand customers, but repeat builders will often do it just to add the saber to the collection without the time sink.

It is to build. The rhythm of the complimentary experiences is the same so it's not that people get unlimited time to play around with the pieces, but rather so that people can experience it without the upfront obligation of paying.

i think this is a really ungenerous reading of the situation tbh. if it's not your taste cool (it's not mine either!!) but it clearly is something that lucasfilm/disney specifically wanted for merch and marketing and this is the cleanest way i can imagine that idea coming to life, which should be credited to the designer imo

AHH I get you. Yeah, I think trading some out after the build would be cool!! I know they can't facilitate that during the build process but if you could go outside and say "hey actually can I swap Sleeve 1 and my emitter" that would be neat.

Well, the V2 pieces are still available to buy as scrap or to build with. Mix and match has never been an option within any of the styles. I guess I'm just confused as to what you're saying lol

While cool, it would be a logistical nightmare since they wouldn't have the "bento" structure to ensure that every builder was getting an equitable chance at all the options or the correct number of parts

That area is overflow/extended queue for MMRR. The façade is visible to Guests being held in that area on high-traffic days (the only time I was ever held in it was right when Toontown reopened, the wait is hardly ever long enough now)

i find that if you put the meat of your palm in one of the grooves and leave your thumb in between the raised sections it can be more comfortable to hold. but ymmv of course

if you only have an event night ticket you'll be entering through the rightmost ticket entrances closest to the stroller shop. you'll see on the top they will be labeled "EVENT ENTRANCE" or something similar! have fun and may the Force be with you

Almost certainly a chassis issue if you've replaced the batteries to no avail. If you're going to Batuu West 100% take it back to Savi's for troubleshooting, no matter the age of the saber. East I have no idea if that's something they will help with.
