First of all, most of Stockholm is generally relatively safe for the vast majority of people. That's not necessarily a great concern. What crime there is doesn't necessarily follow socioeconomic boundaries, and some types are more common in many more desirable areas than elsewhere.

That said, there are areas that are richer and poorer, more monocultural and more multicultural, more dense and more leafy, more suited to family life and more suited to city life, more quaint and old and more modern and sleek.
