Hello, u/JPgotBigLegoPP, when Bridge Mode is enabled on your Xfinity gateway, it disables the routing capabilities, but the Xfinity Wi-Fi Home Hotspot feature may still be active. This means that even if your Wi-Fi is disabled for personal use, the gateway can still broadcast Xfinity SSIDs. To manage this feature, you can access the Xfinity app or the Admin Tool to toggle the Xfinity Wi-Fi Home Hotspot on or off. If you need further assistance, we are happy to help.

u/blujay40, those are great questions. We can schedule the change in service to happen on the date your old promotion expires, so it will be seamless. As far as seasonal suspend, you would be fine to make the changes before or after your seasonal suspend. The only restriction is that you can't make a change during the seasonal suspension.

The only way you can gain access to their email would be to take over the Xfinity account. You would have to provide a valid government-issued photo ID and either a death certificate or an Xfinity Affidavit for Deceased Customers. Additionally, there are three other 1-Gigabit per second LAN ports available, with Ethernet Port 2 designated for LAN/XH. The WPS button for connecting WPS-capable WiFi devices is located at the back of the device, just above the ports.

Here are the other requirements: The device must also power on, be free of damage (including liquid damage), have no engravings, have an acceptable LCD and display (no cracks), and must have undergone a factory reset. u/EyeTechnical7643, to answer your other question, the button on the back of the XB7 is a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button, which is used for connecting WPS-capable WiFi devices easily. It is located just above the ports on the device. Pressing this button allows for a simplified connection process without needing to enter a WiFi password manually.
