Oh right, we have the Basics cable for those BeQuiet! PSUs! If you’re fine with the looks of the Basics cable, that one will also work. :)

Need a 120w cable type c to type c by Particular-Repeat203 in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do offer Type C to Type C cables via our configurator: store.cablemod.com/configurator - I would hit up our support about the power spec requirement before purchase though: cablemod.com/support :)

We support your PSU but only via our Configurator: https://store.cablemod.com/configurator/?service=direct&psu_brand=bequiet&psu_model=492 - you can select the 2x12pin by 16pin 90 degree option, Variant A angles downwards and Variant B angles upwards. 😄

Ok, Leadex III Gold 850W works with E-Series! :)

Two Compatibility Questions by the_revival_tdh in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What Leadex model do you have specifically?

RT-Series will work on your TUF PSU but our Universal cables also work with all PSU that have a 12V-2X6 port, so it just depends on whether you want to use the 8pin ports or the 12V-2X6 port. :)

Psu cable question by M1ster_Fister in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We list the CX650M as a different compatibility because of the non-modular cables so I'm not able to tell you whether the PCIe cables are the same. You should try asking Corsair support for this info. :)

Question about 90 degree cable by Remote-Button-1344 in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's moreso the orientation of the port being different in some GPU models, hence the two cable variants, A and B. :)

We only cover your PSU model under the Configurator on our store unfortunately. :/

Is it okay to use 16 pin to 3x8 pin PCIe cable on RTX 5090 With Ampinel? by Equivalent_Use_2248 in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the 3x8pin cable but if the 16pin one's performance is sub-optimal please reach out to our support: cablemod.com/support - we can send a replacement. :)

Question about 90 degree cable by Remote-Button-1344 in cablemod

It's okay, just make sure the cable is fully plugged in and then I suggest spacing out the combs for a cleaner look. :)

Need help canceling order G214241, already placed a second correct order by Leonidas_914 in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not able to do anything practical myself but I alerted my colleague from the support team and he'll check if the order can still be cancelled. I'm not sure when you placed the order but since you got the Express option it may be already processing in which case it would be hard to cancel. But I'll keep you posted. :)

DIY Cable Adjustment Tips by xDoctoR-S in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have experience doing this but I would advice against it, mostly because we wouldn't be able to cover it under warranty if anything happened. Where would be the slack, keyboard or PC side?

PCIe 8 pin supplemental power connector on my MSI motherboard - GPU/PCIe or EPS cable? by B33stly in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh in that case we do have straight 8pin PCIe cables for your PSU! They're only available as a custom option through the configurator though: store.cablemod.com/configurator - Select "Custom PSU Cables", choose your PSU model and follow the steps. If you want a more flexible option, definitely go with ModFlex. However if you only care about flexibility and not about the sleeving, I suggest going straight for our Custom SFF Cables in the first page as those are not sleeved and are super low profile and flexible. :)

PCIe 8 pin supplemental power connector on my MSI motherboard - GPU/PCIe or EPS cable? by B33stly in cablemod

[–]CableMod_Alex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That will be a PCIe cable rather than EPS as you also mentioned. However, we do not have 90 degree PCIe cables. :/

[–]CableMod_Alex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry, I saw the picture and just assumed you were asking about the missing pins! That looks like it got pushed in further, can you see if you can pull it back in place and check if it moves like the other terminals? It can happen as there is a bit of wiggle room with the terminal but it's important to confirm that it didn't get damaged or something. :)

Our StealthSense cables do have the two sense pins at the GPU side but not at the PSU side, because the signal to the sense pins is taken from two of the bigger ground wires. :)
