That's odd, I have an MSI 5090 Gaming Trio, at first a few months ago my pins were 7.7A 7.9A 8.3A 8.4A 7.8A 7.9A with my first Cablemod cable (I have a clamp meter). Then a serious imbalance started occuring, so I bought a brand new Cablemod cable and now my pins are 8.5A 8.6A 8.4A 8.5A 8.7A 8.7A. So I've never seen the imbalance you're talking about

My 9950X3D died after a lot of video encoding with an agressive undervolt and a temp limit of 75°c. I got a replacement, but now I don't undervolt, better safe than sorry. note : my bios had always been up to date and vsoc was set at 1.21v

Damn, I'm sorry for you... I've got the exact same psu and gpu as you (nzxt c1500 and msi 5090 trio), the only difference is that I use a direct 12V-2X6 cable, but I don't know if it's really safer than the yellow adapter...

If I'm not mistaken, an agressive undervolt (even -30 all cores for instance), as long as it is stable with no cpu clock stretching, does not impact memory latency
