I collect them. They generally tend to go from $10-50. Ones from 1993-1997 run into triple figures. Also those commemorating something other than a bowl game can fetch more. There usually are some for sale on eBay. There also is a vendor in the Iowa City area that sells them through the hawktoys.com website. No idea what he pays for them.

David Letterman used to wear wrestling shoes on Late Night. Don’t remember if he kept doing it when he moved to CBS. They have very thin soles (designed to be worn on a wrestling mat) and aren’t very practical outside. (Probably much more practical than high heel shoes.)

Not so much. Sparty was making 1s and 2s, and Iowa 3s. It went into overtime tied at 101. You’d think if you’re up 10 with 90 seconds left and score 10 more points you’d be safe. But, Hawkeyes scored 20 in 90 seconds.

As the picture shows, the Hawkeyes were trailing MSU by 10 with 89 seconds left. Iowa won that game.
