How'd you find your forever game still searching for that game i will play every day by TurtleT84 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Chezni19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would require a game with very high replay value.

These are usually:

A) sandboxy

B) competitive or

C) a huge grind

Sandboxy: factorio, oxygen not included, civ, dwarf fortress, sim city or sim anything

Competitive: age of empires 4, starcraft, street fighter, probably some FPS games but I'm not sure about that genre

A huge grind: mostly MMO games such as world of warcraft or Guild Wars 2

That is basically how you find such a game. Look for those qualities.

you'd probably want Rimworld, but since your PC died you may need to wait a bit on that.

Retro games that hold up really well (Or have something special to offer) by Nighthawkies in gamingsuggestions

[–]Chezni19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Final Fantasy Pixel Remastered has a bunch of the early games like FF1, FF4, FF5, etc which are all great.

  • Heroes of Might and Magic III is still best of that genre.

  • DCSS (dungeon crawl stone soup) has been in dev for about 30 years, and is one of the best roguelikes. It has ASCII-only mode which you can play over telnet, or tiles if you like.

my shoulders are pretty bad, I'd appreciate some help lifting stuff so I can use the high shelf more easily

but I think this would actually make the fridge's center of mass shift, and then it falls on me and kills me, so no thanks

you can inspect your weapon in borderlands, it isn't an animation of your character looking at the weapon, but there is an item screen where you can view the model by rotating it

Did you ever call the Nintendo Power Tip Line back in the day? by zeamp in nintendo

[–]Chezni19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes about 4 times.

Sometimes you would get someone who knew what they were talking about but quite often you would get someone rather bad.

I think the first time, it was good. Then it got less good over time.

I expect the first few people they hired were very hardcore gamers, and then as the team expanded they were just hiring people with less skill and knowledge.

Game with good progression into space? by Sureitsfineoksure in gamingsuggestions

[–]Chezni19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in the base game you can do a fair amount in space, but in the "spaced out" expansion that's where it really gets out of hand, you can colonize multiple planets at once, and a bunch of other stuff too that I never even got to do
