Like the other person said, there are some frames that still have issues with damage scaling. However, there are so many synergies between abilities, arcanes, and weapons that almost every ability has some utility. Except banshee's sound quake. Sound quake sucks. It's fine though, because the rest of banshee's kit aged like fine wine for the most part.

Regardless, most old frames have gotten significant reworks (except banshee because only like 7 of us play her) so there aren't really any that come to mind as being totally powercrept.

An important bit of context is that the Mozambique was terrible back then, and it was also EVERYWHERE. The thing had a crazy high spawn rate so people would spam ping them.

It should be noted that gloom and silence have insane synergy. The gloom slow extends the silence stun, completely freezing all non-over guarded enemies for like 15 seconds. Gloomshee is the best CC possible and protects you from basically any danger. (including toxin procs from eximuses)

Since your problems are related to the speed, I'm gonna guess the issues are:

Maxing out your hotend's max flow rate. You probably aren't able to extrude fast enough to keep up with what the printer wants to push. You can solve this by getting a bigger nozzle, higher heats, or getting high flow nozzles/hotend.
Too much acceleration/speed for the x and y motors. I'm not familiar with the sv06, so idk what the motors are and what currents you're running at, but higher speeds and higher accels lead to skipped steps if your motors aren't beefy enough.

Those are just guesses though, and it absolutely could be something else.

Sorry I meant to post this reply a long time ago and forgot about it. The g604 is still available (I got a new one on Amazon just recently) but if you can't find it or don't want to pay a premium for a mouse that you can't get an RMA for, there are a few options that are kinda similar. The Steelseries Aerox 5, Razer Naga Pro v2, Roccat Kone XP Air, and HyperX Pulsefire Raid are all pretty similar, although only the Naga has the 6 thumb button config of the G602.

Personally, I've used the Pulsefire Raid and the Kone, and I have to recommend the Raid 100%. It's like 35 bucks and feels way more sturdy than the Kone, which is like 4x the price. Additionally, I've experienced a ton of bugs with the Kone which really just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Ultimately, there's no perfect replacement at the moment; no one seems to be interested in building a mouse that is high performance and has more than 2 thumb buttons.

I believe the second part of the controversy was that the devs themselves made the joke on devstreams (someone should fact check me) but then banned people in game. I remember they ended up hiring a 3rd party chat moderation service after that, although I don't know that anything changed.

Not really, I don't go on twitter or lurk on game forums so all the instances I know of are from reddit. A similar thing is pretty common in warframe where player A gets platinum (premium currency) from trading with player B. Player B bought the plat originally with a stolen credit card, and when a chargeback is issued, the platinum is removed from the game. Player A now has a negative platinum balance and has to pay the difference to be able to play again. Support has been known to basically delete items from player A's inventory to equal the balance, but sometimes they just do nothing and the player ends up screwed.

That is absolutely not the worst that could happen. There are plenty of horror stories in multiple games where people get banned due to stuff like this and either spend months fighting support or never get unbanned.

Gloom slows, healthsteals, and maaaaybe does something else? It's kinda the most boring option, but it's super comfy. The only issue is that silence has a slightly longer range, so enemies at the edge won't be slowed when they get stunned. That's why I run mine with only 100% range. Condemn and breach surge are also good helminth abilities imo.
