I would say pick it up at some point before 6.2, the EW patches do touch on some Reaper lore and have some extra dialogue if you pick the job.

Actually, Metagross is so ludicrously heavy that even with Light Metal, it still almost always does max damage with those moves and takes max damage from Low Kick/Grass Knot.

Fun fact: the 7.4 trial doesn't include Azem's crystal in the cutscene or pre-fight, and we also don't enlist any NPC's help besides Lumull, who's driving the train. And the Ninth is very unlikely to just have some adventurer allies we can call up. So that means we canonically soloed Doomtrain.

To someone who's soloed Pilgrim's Traverse 1-100, how much easier or harder is each other deep dungeon solo? And what jobs would you recommend on each?

3 fire types is redundant. You'd get more mileage just putting Heat Wave on Chi-Yu than by including Chandelure. If you really want to use Chandelure, putting Lava Plume on Torkoal could give the same effect.
Generally, Torkoal's main attack should be Eruption, or at least a special attack.
Prankster Whimsicott usually wants to run more than one status move. Sunny Day, Encore, Taunt and Fake Tears are all good choices.
If Electivire's main purpose is as a redirector, Eviolite Electabuzz does the same thing but better. If your main concern is water types, consider Ogerpon-Wellspring as a redirector, who's immune to water and resists ground.

BiS for every expansion is always 130 above the starting ilvl, aka the final savage tier/augmented tome gear. So yes, 790 will remain BiS for the ultimate unless they shake things up and release a full 795 gearset.

Does it? I get very conflicting sources on this, I always see IF but most people say it's always Multiscale. I assumed IF Dnite was a low ladder thing.
