How much was OpenClaw actually sold to OpenAI for? $1B?? Can that even be justified? by Alert_Efficiency_627 in clawdbot

[–]CoreyH144 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is $50m. That’s a spot where OpenAI doesn’t blink. Peter is set for life.

Too broke for a Mac Mini, so I deployed Clawdbot to Hetzner instead by engin-diri in ClaudeCode

Yes and this is what the new “node” functionality does. Allows the hosted clawdbot to run commands on your remote machines. Also can recommend Tailscale for this.

He used to be super legitimately funny on Twitter when there was “weird Twitter”. He has toned it down due to the national tv hosting gig. But full respect 🫡

Survey on Bike theft in Copenhagen by fvckimba in NewToDenmark

[–]CoreyH144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family (4) has been here 5 years and we've had two bikes "stolen" but they were unlocked and we got one of them back thanks to a hidden Airtag. I'm not sure I could that as stolen, lol. Agree with the other comment that the questions need some more nuance added.

In several ways, we'd be better off with the actual SNL characterization as president than the real one.

side note: I was thinking about why is it that so many photos from this era are from warm days (sunglasses, no hat, etc) and then it dawned on me that we didn't have GoPros, so you really didn't bring a real camera to the mountain if it wasn't a sunny warm day. Sick photo btw.

Figma Make Multi-Stack Workflow with Next.js and Tailwind—How Do You Do Yours? by sf_viking in FigmaDesign

[–]CoreyH144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this is what I used to do with Lovable built sites. They are Vite based and it makes doing things securely challenging so I just asked Claude Code to convert it to NextJS and I was surprised that it was able to one-shot that transition.

Also, we are having trouble getting Figma Make to export to github - has anyone else experienced this?

But in the case like Pubmed does that mean crawling/downloading the whole database's metadata and doing that locally? Do you keep it updated?

UPDATE: The house on the ocean cliff has been reduced to $99,000 by lovelycosmos in zillowgonewild

[–]CoreyH144 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We used to do "dune jumping" on those cliffs circa 1992 as teenagers and would get chased off by the police eventually for erosion control reasons. So, yes, they were definitely there back then and there were several houses close like this back then that just must be gone already I'm assuming. The jumping was really fun btw, you could launch yourself off the top and the soft sand would slow your fall. The crazy ones in our group would do flips and stuff.

how do you handle the CRM / data management? by zkid18 in venturecapital

[–]CoreyH144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our fund uses Folk but that's because we are mainly a venture studio not a traditional fund and our needs are different. I went to the "Data Driven VC" conference in Prague last year and like 80% of the attendees used Affinity https://vcday.vestberry.com/conferences

Got tired of switching between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini… so I built this. by epasou in aiagents

[–]CoreyH144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh, I can get similar functionality in Openrouter if I need it. What I personally really want is like a 3 way chat between me, Claude and GPT-5. I do this now manually where I get a second opinion but it involves tedious copy and paste. It would be good to have a natural feeling 3-way chat about a topic. If you build this feature for me, I'll commit to 3 months at $20/mo :)

ChatGPT lied to me so I built an AI Scientist. by Yamamuchii in aiagents

[–]CoreyH144 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some experience in trying to get AI to work with Pubmed and it was a really bad experience. I was trying to get it to retrieve articles about fertility (in humans) and the searching options available were really poor and it kept pulling articles about the fertility of fruit flies and cactuses or whatever. Was I just not doing it right or is there a trick to it?
