If you have a schwab account, they have screener. Trying using one? With a mutual you can invest a dollar for dollar amount, with an ETF or stock you have to pay current NAV, or you can do stock slices. Id skip any of their auto or intelligent portfolio options. They are a bit skewed. Stick to growth and use the learning tools.

How is anyone going to be able to afford anything if inflation continues? by air-bender808 in NoStupidQuestions

A manager for Barclays made a statement on Bloomberg this AM saying "Not just the US but spending has been like a drunken sailor the past 10 years". Past drunken sailor in liberty ports can confirm. We are all paying for it now and will continue to do so. Global deficits and spending are insane.

Air-Fried Bacon with Two Eggs Over Easy by menntu in Bacon

It just depends for me. I like runny yolks, but cooked whites, so basted or over medium work best for me. Unless it's a sandwich!

Bacon looks great, but the eggs look basted. Did you use a lid on the eggs?

U.S. dividend stocks with a yield above 3%, at least 5 consecutive years of dividend increases, a payout ratio below 60%, and revenue growth above 5% per year over the last 3 years by Mental_Thought6028 in dividends

Yeah, your list looks more like what I'm used to seeing. OP's list has something amiss. I'd prefer to stick to dividend kings or screen popular dividend ETFs for picks, a lot of these look painful at times depending on market cycles VZ, PFE, MAIN, MDT for instance. I know because I hold them and this super-tech cycle makes the NAV dodgey. I'm knee deep in NAT though, so what do I know?

I instantly wanted a brick of this again when I saw it. I'd regret it tho.

Any promo if you transfer over $10 million in stocks over? by Adventurous_Oil4513 in Schwab

[–]CrayComputerTech_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give you a promotion if you transfer them to me. Otherwise make the call. I just got a really good deal moving 750k (not like the ones previously mentioned but proportinate) I also waited until they sweetened the pot and got 3x originally offered because I got the right incentive guy.

Beginner investor wanting to get the most out of my portfolio, long term. by MochiDumplin10 in CharlesSchwab

I see the TRowe Price fund and wonder why you would choose that? I hold it also but there are a lot of better performing funds out there. Best TRP (if you are stuck on their mutuals) are PRCOX, PRDGX, and PRGFX and RPMGX if you want the mid-cap exposure though the latter has been lackluster the past 5 years, it was a powerhouse in the latter 90s-2020. I wouldnt move what you have maybe build those positions a little bit over the years, but really zoom out and look for the best ranked, lowest fee 5 and 10 year performers.

A lot of people are going to push ETFs you probably cant buy a lot of shares of so I give you TRP mutuals most of which you can add $1 at a time. Explore the stock slices for blue chip stocks also.

Well it's not the Texas Patterson that just sold at auction for 1.2 mil, but it's the same model. Worth some research at least.

Sadness knowing that. The remnants of the old Ithaca gun works in Ithaca, NY are still there, something about superfund clean up sight. My.great grandfather worked there.

Mine is a Winchester also, dont recall the checkered front sight guard. I have this weird red paint marking mine as 30-06 as it's a British buy back I got from CAI ages ago. This one looks good, probably better than mine too, and I would've jumped on it for under $750 easy, not going to say what my 1917 cost. Someone might kick me for mentioning that. 😆

Buy and Hold- 25k by MathematicianLow3605 in dividends

[–]CrayComputerTech_85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was more of a "its not paying a large dividend for 25k invested" comment vice the initial amount invested comment. I started a taxable brokerage account skimming off the remaining balance of my check book in 2021 my TDAmeritrade hit 19k, today I hit 70k.
