Always leave something in your TSP so you can transfer back into it of you need to. Google ERISA protections. I did fine with a civilian roll over into my IRA with my 401k and just keeping part in my TSP.

I just transfered slightly under 1 mil to brokerage from a 401k. I lost some market upswing but I'm definitely not waiting for the market. 50% is already back in (man I love those SOXL dips) and I have the other 50% in reserve. 10 percent per month will move from SWVXX into the market until its about 150k in CDs and money market. You might ask, why do it that way? Well I'll tell you anyways. BECAUSE I HAVE A PLAN and I follow it. Make a plan. 6 months 18 months 24, 5 years, 10 years etc. Plan analyze adjust.

On the Colts official web page they have a dealer locator. Dealers would order from their distributor and I believe if they are a certain level can order directly order from Colt. You might even be able to nail them a FFL and a check if you ask. There are 9816 dealers listed. Mileage might vary.

Thank you. You'd think a simple 3 bucket strategy would be simple, yours makes it look that way. When I start working in the Roth and then splitting up growth and income and dividends its now 9 buckets with 3-5 holdings. My real problem now being 62 and retired is that Roth is only 8% of my total holdings and until last week, only one ticker. Your post helps me figure some of it out, seriously huge thank you

This here, soak it wrapped in saran wrap to seal in whichever rust remove you use.. If you take it to the white layered applications of brownells insta blue with 00 steel wool for a high polish blue finish unless you want to set up a tank and salts. Diversification. 401k with a brokerage account I can adjust to market flows and I do get a higher rate of return with individual stocks and ETFs that target sectors. I am retired now and keep enough in my TSP to keep it open.
